Holmes Torquemaster and Crawlmaster available
Hello all! We just wanted to send an update and let you know that our Pro line TorqueMaster and CrawlMaster motors are becoming available again after the big holiday rush! We have stock of most TorqueMaster Pro winds now, as well as a few Crawlmasters. We are also offering custom wound motors again and will be able to respond quicker to these requests with our improved in house production line. New products and changes at Holmes Hobbies!
Dear HH followers,
We are proud to announce a new products in our store, and changes to our flagship brands. The first major change is that many of our products will be slowly changing ownership to our sister company, Holmes Motion Control (HMC). By doing so we are separating product development from our retail business. This will allow a better focus on developing great products, and on customer service at manufacturing and retail sales levels.
The first new product is the Crawlmaster Pro 540.
The ultimate 540 motor for rock junkies is finally here! The CrawlMaster Pro 540 offers first in class design and quality you expect from Holmes, with low end control that is unmatched on the rocks. It is no surprise that it is quickly becoming the first choice of competitors all around the world! We are offering winds from slow crawler to rock racer speeds to suit your ride, and can custom wind to suit your exact requirements. With a quality component list of Japanese ball bearings, FB9 wet magnets, gold plated brush hoods, heatsinks, and a hand wound 5 slot armature, the CrawlMaster is sure to please the most discriminating driver. When you need the ultimate in crawling control with dirt slinging axle popping power, the Crawlmaster Pro is on top of the pile!
The next new product is the TorqueMaster Expert 540
High end quality, budget price. This is what the TorqueMaster Expert is all about. The Expert build of our popular TorqueMaster motor is nearly identical to our standard Pro model with FB9 wet magnets, ball bearings, gold plated brush hood, machine wound armature, and Holmes quality. This motor provides an excellent value for a 540 rebuildable motor and accepts handwound armatures if the user decides to upgrade in the future. The strong FB9 magnets and extra heavy springs ensure that having weak drag brake on machine wound motor is a thing of the past! When you need control and power on a budget, the TorqueMaster Expert is your motor! 35, 45, and 55t motors are available now.
We also have fresh inventory of HMC 35c lipos in 1300mah and 1000mah.
These packs have been stress tested under the most abusive and demanding situations, and represent themselves true to the 35c continuous ratings. We are also testing smaller packs and plan to carry them after thorough stress testing. Just as always, if it has our name on it you can guarantee the quality and support will be there.

Holmes Hobbies Crawlmaster 540 coming soon!
We are proud to announce a new motor in our line up of products, the Crawlmaster 540. This isn't your typical 540 motor however, this motor has low speed control like no other brushed motor sold before! With a 5 slot armature and winding pattern developed by John Holmes, it opens the door for higher wheelspeeds without sacrificing the all important low speed control. Any vehicle that runs a 540 motor can benefit from this new design.
